Denon DJ has released the LC6000 PRIME, dubbed "the world's most powerful DJ controller" by the music technology firm.
The latest DJ controller retains several of the main features of Denon DJ's flagship SC6000, but adds sub-layer control of the controller's software platform Engine OS's second dual-layer audio performance, allowing it to be used to its maximum potential.

The ability to mix and run two tracks simultaneously from a single controller is one of Engine OS's features.
The LC6000 PRIME will be available worldwide in this quarter of 2021. The new controller will introduce “a professional club style interface, design, and control to both standalone and laptop-based DJ workflows,” according to Denon DJ.

The controller has eight multi-function output pads, including Hot Cue, Roll, Loop, and Slicer for ‘on-the-fly' remixing, as well as a separate loop section and navigation control panel.
An 8.5" jog wheel with an HD central display, a 100mm dual-preciison pitch fader, and Pitch Bend control are among the other features.
Denon DJ's Brand Marketing Manager, Jay Cunningham, said: "Denon DJ has long been at the forefront of creativity in the booth, and the Dual-Layer capabilities in our Media Players, which provide DJs with two dedicated audio outputs from a single device, is just one example." With the LC6000 PRIME, we can keep the vision alive by providing DJs with cost-effective, competent hardware control of the second layer, allowing them to continue breaking down barriers and pushing performance creativity.”
